Rules on differential
« on: June 13, 2006, 10:49:03 AM »
I thought differentials on balls were going down based on the rules for this year.

All of a sudden I'm seeing this type of stuff...

Immortal

I am aware that the cg and weighthole rules did not get passed....but didn't teh max differentials get lowered?

Also...what about this idea of negative mass bias...sounds cool and should allow more redrillings and still be effective....no?

Yes, the differential rule passed.  Balls like the Immortal however, were grandfathered in because they were submitted for testing before the rule took effect.

Probably like the Ebonite No Limit, it was grandfathered, I'm sure a lot of balls were that way.

Wasn't the mass bias markings on Ebonite balls like the Tombstone negative?
I seem to remember something about that.

Thanks for answers on differential!

RotoDave...sort of my thought too...if mass bias is created due to lower weight on non drill side...aw...mass bias stays in...even after multiple drillings...I think?
