OK people.....here's my video.

Let me know if you see anything terribly wrong i'm doing. I know...the first thing is bowling thumbless, but this is how I prefer to bowl for now. Keeping my no thumber style in mind...is there something you guys see that I need to focus on. I've been in a slump now for about a month and I just can't figure it out. Please help!!

OK..I'll work on the knee bend more. It actually feels like I am getting lower than it looks on video. But then again videos don't lie. I think this is why I have been lofting the ball halfway to the arrows lately. Sometimes I'll catch myself puting the ball down too late and it bouncing sometimes.

what about not dropping your shoulder so much?

Greg7, I think you're right about the ball likes a smooth start on the lane. Seems like one time the ball might skid too far before checking up and then next ball might grip as soon as it hits and end up brooklyn. I have been working on getting the ball on to the lane sooner and smoother, but when I take my mind off it...I end up back to lofting. I beleive this may be my biggest problem right now, but the kneebend deffinatly needs attention too.

How can I get lower and work on a sooner release without dropping my shoulder? My shoulder does look low, but I don't understand how to get the ball down quicker without dropping my shoulder more. I realize that bending my knee more will get me lower, but I don't think it's gonna get my shoulder back up even.

Looks like you slide a TON. This could be the reason that you have no knee bend (very hard to get balanced with a bent knee and sliding a lot). If you like sliding a lot, theres really nothing wrong with it, but if you want to help out your balance a bit, look to put on a different heel/sole combo.

Stanski, If I put one of the other soles on...I will bust my butt. I have my shoes adjusted for the most slide b/c the others feel like they bite the approach and it causes my knee to lock up and then it's kiss the floor. My knees are already a little weak from highschool basketball. On top of that, I'm trying to support 230 lbs. + the ball, on one leg.

No, I think you have very good 'thumbless form'. Besides the knee bend, and getting the ball down sooner, you look pretty good. I know its hard to get the ball on to the lane for you though, because I can see that you get your hand way under the ball before release, so this makes you lift up on the ball, more then rotate it.
