dealers on ebay
« on: December 20, 2007, 01:45:53 AM »
question, has anyone dealt with glcbowling? they won't give pins or top weights  available, i have dealt with palacage and they were great with lots of different options. glc has great prices except i don't want 0-1" pins or 1.5 tops. they take requests, but you know how that goes. i just wanted to know if i'm waisting my time and money if i do get something. i know someone will say you get what you pay for, like i said, palacage were very good, at least to me.

I only dealt with GLC when they used to tell you pins and top weights. I'm not buying a completely unknown entity for $60 - $100. If I can't use it, then it's no bargain. I don't want a 1" pin nor a 5" pin, not 1 oz top weight nor 5 oz top weight.

According to them evrything's in a warehouse SOMEHWERE ELSE and they can't check. If they can't check, they can keep it in the warehouse. I'd rather pay $120 - $150 and know what I'm getting.

To many drop ship and there's no way to know what you're getting. That's why I list eack ball on ebay with everything listed that someone might want to know.

Nothing wrong with what the other guys doing, just don't think many folks realize you get what you pay for.

GLC, is or was  a distributor from Michigan, and used to be run by a "Grouchy Old Man".

When I lived in Il. this was a good place to find some good "old" balls. Only sold to shops.

3 transactions with GLC on eBay, no problems. I gave them an idea of what specs I was looking for, and they tried to match it as close as possible. I received the balls within 4 days of payment.
