what is more rare, 300 game or 7-10 split conversion in 2009?
« on: February 17, 2009, 12:08:59 PM »
just thought this might get some interesting feedback. it just seems like in 2009 every 3 weeks or so someone shoots a perfect game and i feel like the game is just not as tough as it once was. it may be a combination of more knowledgeable players, and of course better equipment, but i honestly would like to know the numbers i would assume a 7-10 split conversion is less common now than a 300 game right?  when i die i hope to say i have done the following;
1) 800 series
2)300 game
3) 7-10 split conversion

my father who averages "only" 205 actually picked up the 7-10 split and bowled his only 300 game in the same year! i tell them all the time all he needs is his 800!
lets face it... this isnt deadlifting or picking up women.. its BOWLING!!!! Stop acting tough when you roll 4 strikes in a row!!!

So you can pick up, say the 8-10, 4-6 or any other split with regularity??

I made the 7-10 split this year. Haven't got my 300 or 800 series yet. I had 9 in a row then I started sweating like a whore in church and pulled the first ball in the 10th. Also got 11 in a row but had 9 spare in 1st frame.

7-10 on TV the pins don’t bounce around in the back that often.  On a side note last week in league I finally got the pin to come all the back to me I hit the 10 pin it jumped out the pit rolled past the rack in the middle of the lane and then made its way down the lane right at my feet that was one thing I wanted to do in bowling now I gotta get my 300's and 800's going.
