Ball specs
« on: July 27, 2007, 03:26:00 AM »
A friend of mine owns a small 4 lane house in my home town but dosen't have a pro shop. He does order balls and other bowling equipment when needed. I did some side work for him and he said that he would order a ball for me at about $100. I am thinking of getting the Storm Thunder Road Solid. My question is what pin placement and what top weight should I tell him to order on it.

alot of ppl are different, but id say most like 2 1/2 oz top, and a 2-3 inch pin.hope that helps.

Jeff's right.  Unless you have exotic plans for it, 2-3" pin and 2-3oz of top weight will let you drill the ball almost any way you want to with no trouble keeping it statically legal.
