IMHO nothing can beat the deep cleaning of hook it.

However I dont use it for everyday cleaning. Just once every 2 weeks or so.

For "everyday" cleaning I was using Ebonite's energizer cleaner, which is  just a citrus "orange clean" type product. Be careful of some of the orange cleaners, as some may have a polish in them.

On a suggestion from a person here I've been using a solution of hook-it & Simple green. It's probably the best everyday cleaner I've found yet.

I just started using Clean and Dull on my particle balls, and even for a skeptic like me, it seems to actually make a difference.

My old way of treating my equipment was a dishwasher, then hitting it with Simple Green on a Scotchbrite pad, but the end-result was minimal.  In fact I thought it was the ball dying.

Then I got talking to Del Warren about it and he recommended trying the Clean and Dull.  Again, as a skeptic, I figured it was just a sales pitch, but someone else also recommended it so I tried it.

Bottom line, it seems to work.  My ball has more life than it has in awhile, so Clean and Dull is going to be a regular part of the ball preparation.

My vote goes to Hook-It.  For a good cleaning with a little bit of shine thrown in, I use a 50-50 combination of Hook-It and Renew-It.  You have to be sure to shake it up.

Pure cleaner?  Ultimate's Black Magic Cleaner and Rejuvenator.  Maybe Clean & Dull.  Better even the Hook-it in my opinion.

After bowling I like to use Neo Tac's Nitro,  If I didn't clean between bowling, I would use Nitro just before I bowl.  It evaporates almost immediately so bowling right after use is not a problem.  At home I like to use Hook It.  It takes a little longer to evaporate and cleans the ball a lot deeper then Nitro.  Nitro just gets the surface oil and dirt off quickly before it is absorbed into the coverstock.  I also like to use Clean and Dull on a light gray damp scotch brite pad.  That also works very well. But there are many ways to clean and keep your bowling balls clean.  I recommend a cleaner after every set before putting the ball in the bag though.

I'll second that Nic.......NeoTac's Liquid Nitro is great for after/before sessions.  Deep cleaning I use Hook it every 2 weeks or so.

I am a Simple Green Spray Bottle guy after every session and a Hook It guy every few weeks. Seems like a good combo to me.

Storm's ProActa Clean works pretty well as does the Black Magic Rejuvenator (orange label).

Hit your Detonator with a shot of Doc's Elixir before using it and you will keep the oil and grime from soaking in and thus make it easier to clean.
