Score Tracker for Android
« on: February 03, 2014, 10:01:37 AM »
I've recently started to get more and more serious about bowling and I would like to track my scores using my android phone. I've found a few applications so far but most of them seem pretty buggy and bare-boned. I'd like an application that can not only keep track of my scores, but also allows me to input which pins I hit for each frame, which ball I'm using, etc. It would also be really nice if an app synced up to a website so that I could see even more information on my computer.

Does anyone know of any good apps on the android market?

Try Frames for Android. I've used Frames for years on an HP handheld, a Palm Pilot and now on an Android phone.

I've been using Strike Out Stats for years and its great. I'm a stat geek and I was actually looking into writing an app like this myself until I came across this one.

I have both Strike out stats and Frames.  If you are a stats geek, Frames is the way to go.  It requires some more information for each shot though you do not have to enter everything.  If you just want to track basic stats like strike percentage, spare conversion percentage and super simple interface, then Strike Out Stats is great.

I've used the Mobile Bowling Stats app for a few years now, and really like it.  Here's the link:
