Swamp Monster, by far. The only problem with that is that its such a high load particle it dies EXTREMELY fast.

I have to say the best particle balls that I have used is a toss up between the Deisel Particle and the Circle Athletics Idol.  Both are great on the oil.

If by "strongest", you mean earliest lane grabbing, then it's probably either the Brunswick Warp Zone or the Lanemasters Guaranteed. (The new Ebonite Vortex V2 Strong/R might be in this arena.)

99.99% of bowlers generally do not need such balls for even true heavy oil. They are mostly for people with very high speed and fairly low revs.

Lil,
All of the previous posts are good oil balls that will work well for oil. It might help if you would post a profile with rev rate, ball speed, axis tilt and lane conditions that you bowl on normally versus what you are terming as heavy oil.
Knowing this would narrow down the search for an oil ball for you.
Plus,is there a brand that you prefer???

Well I was actually not looking for a heavy oil ball for myself, I was looking for something for my buddy. He is a full roller and prefers particle equipment because he tends to throw reactives through the breakpoint at times. He was looking for something that hooks the world I belive, which is why he asked did i know of anything that would handle some oil. Well put it this way, do you guys know of any ball that hooks the world and will handle the THS and some heavier oil if need be. Also im not partial to just one brand. Any will do. Something that will hook the world should I say for a full roller.

Not technically a particle but Morich Total Annihilation. It is a Sup er Agressive Reactive, I think it's better than any particle ball I've thrown.

lilphyzx,

Note that traditionally, normally, a full roller's hook does not cover anywhere near the amount of boards that a 3/4 roller's (track outside both finger and thumb holes) ball will hook.
PLUS they normally have zero tilt, so it's hard to get length without a lot of oil and it's hard to get much backend from a full roller relase in any case. Good balls drilled for his release will still hit, though.

Well my buddy already has the animal, and the rule didnt work well for him, maybe it was the drilling. It would always slide past the breakpoint. Particle equipment works well for him nonetheless. He has a apex reflex that works well and a fuze eliminator. I was trying to find him something that even with him being a full roller would turn up a lot.

What do you guys think of the goliath and weapon of mass bias for a full roller.

I don't know how these would work for a full roller, but I do have both balls and will give my input on how they react.

I believe the Goliath will handle more oil than the WMB.  The Goliath hooks earlier, but does not have as strong a backend reaction.  The Goliath sort of drifts to the pocket.  I like to compare it to changing lanes on the interstate.  Even with this type of move, the pin carry is good.

The WMB gets through the front part of the lane better and makes a stronger move to the pocket.  I believe the WMB also provides more drilling options.  In other words being able to use different layouts to achieve the desired reaction.

For me, the Goliath is very condition specific.  The WMB can be used over more conditions.

Charlest,

I read your last reply and it was pretty interesting.  So, if a person is a full roller, the person should only have a full roller layout?  what if the person wants a stacked layout out or others?  How would the ball react in this case?

There are very few standard full roller drillings and a couple variations on them. Although I am not familiar with the non-standard drilling options, I assume there is a full roller equivalent to what we, 3/4 rollers, call a stacked leverage. I would NOT suggest a 3/4 roller's stacked leverage drilling for a full roller. The result will not be the same!!

FUll rollers have to be very careful about their pin-CG relationships, as it's a lot easier for theirs to be rolling over the holes.
