I don't know what's up with him, but he has become even more rude in his postings about other people's bowling;

Tim,
charlest is extremely knowledgable and every once in a while gets "tired" of some tyhpes of posts.....however, I must agree, it seems a little more harsh than usual........

I think Charlest is just like myself in that he is disgusted with this site today when compared to how it is used to be. There didn't used to be the trash, smart azz postings, kids that don't belong on this site, and etc. that there has been for at least a year now and seems to get worse weekly. Sure, there are some good kids on this site, but it is just like a basket of apples, a few bad ones spoils the whole basket. There have been several long time and knowledgeable members that have left this site because of the problems with some of these kids.

Understandable and i am knowledgable about equipment, but in the first post i believe it was Greg Hoppe. And in the second post he went after a ball driller that was commenting about a layout he had used on a visionary ball. Charlest i don't believe has ever attacked me in this manner, but i'm sure some don't appricate it. Everyone's opinion is respected, and i will give due respect to each for there own, but charlest seems to have just figured all the knowledge that he posses is what should be used for the final judgement on an issue.

Different strokes for different folks. I don't wish to see things come down to a Me Too site as the doc suggests.

Don't catagorize me along with all the others that you believe are lower than they. I am a 19 year old " Kid" but a rather large one at that. There may be other posters that are nearly 3 times my age, but i am knowledgable in my own right and accomplished as well. Yes, there are some cocky young guns, but there are some bitter old "farts" on here as well.

Leave charlest alone.  He's got Ricky Williams in a Fantasy Football "keeper" league and doesn't think that Travis Minor can hold up for his starting running back...cut him some slack...!

Bones, maybe not bitter - just tired this morning.  I don't recover from those Montana weekends as well as I used to.  (but if it matters to anyone, I won 2 events over the weekend )

I bought a ball from him for 35.00 shipped and his dealings on email were suberb, very nice guy and he probably just had a bad day. I have had bad days on here within the last couple of months myself either pissed off at work or my wife over something stupid.

I've always liked charlest. He's basically knowledgeable, but he sometimes gets cranky and snaps. I can relate

Anyway, his first exchange with GREG HOPPE was legitimate. Greg is a high speed / low rev stroker, and charlest was simply calling him on the carpet for his surface preparation habits. Greg has always struggled with surface prep concepts, and charlest called it out. Point to charlest.

In the second exchange with the Visionary guy, charlest may have stepped into something he would rather take back. When challenged, charlest didn't try to defend his position. Point to the other guy.

Only 50% success here, but overall, charlest does better.

I've read many of charlest's post(aka and threads too).
He is the "Jet Li" of Bowlin Fu!!!(aka Very Smart).

Anyone here should know(aka bonehead me as well) that
YOU(aka anyone again)should be 100% prepared to
have really SUPER HIGH knowledge of any bowling
knowledge before you post in the serious bowling
areas of this forum.

Second you should really,really watch what you
TYPE,when it regards any info on the spot.

Thirdly,if you slightly goof some info up or had a
couple of teeny wrong points or a set up where
someone sees YOUR posts or thread even and calls ya
on a CYBER TYPING CHALLENGE,you can three things.

1)Be knowledge prepared and back your stuff up.

or

2)Be ready to take some post/thread brain type wars!!

or

3)Dont read the post or thread.No one is putting a gun to your
head to post or read.This forum is very amazing,you can many
things here,and you have control.Heck!Leave the house,go real
bolwing releave taht stress!!

moral ta thread:If ya cant play in the majors go back to farm
leagues,I did!!I dont mind.When you are 100% confident and really
ready,then go back to the big leagues ta play.

Besides I like reading the info post,especially from charlest,EXCALIBER,
Doug S.,usedbowlingball.com,tenpinitus,I forgot names for now,etc,etc,....
I've dealt with many here.Even got a PM from charlest myself.

It was regarding a post I did on a Black Cherry Bomb,I kinda stopped
posting after that.Heck I'll let everyone else post a review,I trust
that some of you will give an honest opinion.I did,I think.lol!!!
I sometimes miss posting reviews,sheesh I've had dozens of balls since
the BCB.No biggie.Off record,I've heard of better as well as worse reviews than mine,so I'm not a total nutcase,at least I try to post an ok review.

Now days,I type weird stuff,I'll leave the brain stuff to you
knowledge kings.

I guarantee he(aka charlest will be back).He's a headliner,a star
poster and is an important part of this BR group,just like Sawbones,and others
I forgot again.
