For me it is Columbia.  They are very underrated right now and flying under the radar.  Its like they never fully recovered after the EPX debacle.  However; the Freeze line was very good and the Violent Eruption remains my favorite ball when I have to get inside and wheel on it.  I am very intrigued by the Impulse and have heard very good feedback on that ball as well.

I like Storm.  I was a big C300 fan when my brother ran a pro shop and could give me a discount.  I tried a few Roto Grips and loved them.  Started working in a pro shop and became their Storm/Roto rep.   I migrated from the Roto to Storm and bought a lot of Storm balls.  Became a Silver level coach and learned more about my game.  Lost my rep status when I moved out of state, but kept with the Storm line because they kept making great balls.  I like to stick with one brand, because having multiple brands to keep up with is difficult.  One brands weak ball, may be another brands medium ball.  So I keep to one brand.

My favorite ball company is whatever happens to be available for the best price when I'm in the market for something new. Everybody makes good stuff and I have no qualms with any of them.

If I see something on clearance/closeout that fits the need I'm looking for I'll jump on it regardless of brand. That means keeping up with all of the new releases for when they eventually go on sale... but I do that anyways.

the brand that works ;D

That's kind of my attitude also.

Still, I'm a ball whore and I have arsenals across Columbia, Storm, and Radical that are more complete than those owned by many single manufacturer fanboys. I also throw current releases from Hammer, Brunswick and DV8. I have older Motiv and Lane#1 balls that I keep more for nostalgia and practice than anything else.

If I "had" to pick just manufacturer at this point, it would probably be Radical. They cover the higher end better than any other company. Their mid and lower end offering are more than adequate. Brunswick poured balls have always been very durable, and Radical is no exception. It's really a shame the company doesn't get more exposure.

Right now, Motiv.
If I could afford it atm, I would buy the Ghost.
Gonna wait for after the summer break to maybe buy one or two new balls by them.
A heavy oil ball and probably a urethane ball.
Most used:
Motiv Venom Shock (14)
DV8 Grudge Hybrid (14)
Hammer Scandal (14)
DV8 Freakshow (14)

Sometimes.
C300 Swerve (14)
Motiv Jackal LE (14)

Retired:
Roto Grip Sinister (13)
Motiv Jackal (14)

Given to a no-thumber in the club:
Brunswick T-zone (13)

Might stick with Motiv from now on.

For obvious reasons, Brunswick (and Radical) are best for me.  They have been very versatile as well as durable.

Having said that, I do live in Utah so I'm always helping people with their Storm poured equipment and it's good stuff.  Just routine maintenance on all of today's equipment seems to be the key to optimum performance and durability.

The last 14 balls I have used have been from Storm or Roto and I'm ready to venture out to try something different.

I will be punching up a Track Kinetic Emerald when it comes out as I've had success with a couple of mid-level Track balls a few years back (607A and 400A).  I'm looking forward to it.

Visionary

Have tons of VBP's stuff, rolls great for me, hold up well (coverstocks) and I have yet to see a single VBP ball crack.

Back about 15 years ago the ball of choice was anything Columbia poured. I loved the AMF Angle Evolutions, Rocks, and the entire Track lines. For whatever reason, their stuff just matched me like VBP matches up great for me today.

Never matched well with Storm with anything and the only Ebonite stuff that got along with me was the Original Apex and the Vicious Particle from Hammer after the buyout from Faball.   Outside of the HPD from Brunswick......pretty much the same boat as Storm and Ebo.

Haven't really tried Motiv outside of a few here and there a couple of years ago....I did have the Venom Shock and wow was that a nice piece!

My favorite is Visionary.  Great quality, thick cover stocks and excellent customer service.  Most of their balls for me are smooth + controllable = predictable.  No ball of the month club company, their balls are usually available for years so you can always get another to drill differently (or to stash away).  When I bowled on sport leagues, the Visionary balls were the ones that seemed to work best on flatter conditions for me, probably because of the reasons I stated earlier (smooth + controllable = predictable).

My next favorites are Radical and Storm.

Track has been filling my bag now for the last several years.  Currently in my bag are Track Heat when I see enough oil, Track Tundra for normal house shots and 300C pearl for the lighter shots.

I have no real preference. I throw whatever I believe will serve me at the time. Currently throwing Storm, Roto, Columbia, AMF, and Brunswick.

I will probably throw these pieces for two to three weeks then change them all out, and throw Hammer, Brunswick, Track, LaneMasters, AZO, and MoRich.

I have never thrown Motiv. I have thrown Global 900, which reminds me a lot of a Columbia/AMF mix!

Whatever works!

Roto grip. Typically before 2016 made a complete lineup with the least amount of balls.

I fill a lot of gaps with their stuff.
In the bag [Infinite Physix, Volatility Torque, Night Road, Phaze III, Burner Solid, Hustle AU]
*Now Testing* IQ Ruby, Renevant, another IQ Tour solid
Coming soon...???

I was a loyal Storm follower from 2001 starting with the Trauma Series, this was after a 2 year lay-off (1999-2001).  In 2007 I was introduced  to the Lane Masters Original Black Pearl and was sold immediately.   I've been throwing Lane Masters and a few Lord Field balls since.
