Title: what is your highest sanctioned series without a 300?

Just curious as to some high series without a 300.. I myself  would take an 800 over 300 any day. My highest set without a 300 is 876... 298, 289, 289

Lol.. actually no.. I made a bad shot last ball of my 298 game, knew it when i let it go.. both of my 289 games i left stone 9.. both great shots and knew they were good when i let them go.. just wasnt meant to be...

I shot 855 in March. 1 pin short of our county record of 856. 288 (4-7) 299 (wrap 10) 268 (wrap 10 in 4th, mixer 7 in 10th)

All good sets.. funny how pins fall and dont fall sometimes.  Can make great shots all night and just not carry.. Can be a tough game at times...lol

I have 14 800's, high of 840.  Don't remember whether I had a 300 in the 840, but less half of the 800s had 300's in them.

I'm not on the level of you guys, so it's not as impressive (except to me, because prior to two and a half years ago I had never bowled a 200 before...I'm 48).

Summer league I'm in this year is not a sanctioned league, but threw my personal best: 194-244-277: 715

Well nice bowling Snakester. you got your first 200 games out of the way and bowled 700 with them. Ill take 700s every night...lol... At least your game is getting better.  Thats always a good thing.  Good shooting.

Shot 257-234-299 790 on a Friday night, then came back with 279-300-299 878 the next Wednesday, so it's all good!!

Duplicate 279s with a 242 for 797. Fell apart a bit in the third game with back-to-back converted 6-7-10s.

Have the 300s, but still looking for that first 800.
