Hey everyone,

Finally starting to get my head out of my rectum, I put together my new sanctioned high set of 765 this past Sunday night. I threw the ball well all night long and I was very happy with the way things worked out. However, yesterday I was looking at how my games played out and I realized that if I would have carried 2 good shots that I didn't, I would have reached the 800. Here are what my games looked like:

X X X X X 9/ X X X X X X-= 279 --> Left 10-pin on bad shot, deserved it.
/ X X X X X X 9/ X X 9/ = 258 --> Both 9 counts were wiggling 4-pins on good shots.
X X 9/ X 8/ X 9/ 9/ X X X X = 228 --> 1st 9 count was stone 10-pin, the other three non-strikes came tight, left a 6-10, 3-pin, 4-pin.

But in looking at those scores, if I'd have carried the first wiggling 4-pin in game 2 and the stone 10-pin in game 3, that would have given me 805. Of course, I realize that if those shots had gone down the pressure would have been higher and perhaps other things along the way might have changed. Nevertheless, I didn't realize just how close I was until now. I hope I get there again soon, only next time I hope I just toss my first 300 to finish the night off, that way I don't have to worry about making any spares and I can just collect 2 honor scores in the same night!
