I see medium light in one house, light in another, and the third is short, dry, and alot of friction

Wednesday's - Synthetics, usually a true medium look, can throw the mid range pieces

Thursdays' - Old wood, this year really wet/dry with a heavy puddle in the middle.  I normally play outside 8-9-10 at the arrows out to about 5-6 with a weak MoJave.  I avoid the middles there as they become over/under hell.

Brunswick Pro Anvil Synthetic Lanes oiled to 38' with medium oil some days and medium heavy oil other days.

One league is medium and on occasion med-light(probably due to weather).

My other league has been "random volume of the week" ranging from medium-light to medium-heavy. Last I knew the house only stripped the lanes on two random days a week which probably explains the random volume and random backend reaction.

Tournaments have been nice this year with varying volumes from medium-light to medium-heavy and a nice mix of sport, challenge and house shots.

One house I bowl at with Brunswick Anvilane synthetics throws down a 43ft medium-heavy oil pattern.  That place usually sees the Nano to start and then down to the 919C/Anarchy depending on carrydown.

The other house I bowl at with AMF HPL synthetics is normally a true medium shot.  That place usually sees me throwing the Vital Energy and Nomad Dagger.

My arsenal

Heavy Oil: Storm Virtual Gravity Nano: 2000 AB
Medium-Heavy Oil: Storm Anarchy: 1500 polished
Medium-Heavy Oil: Track 919C: 3000 AB
Medium-Heavy Oil: Ebonite Vital Energy: 4000 AB
Medium Oil: Roto Grip Nomad Dagger: 1500 polished

Medium-Light Oil: Roto Grip Rising Star: 1500 polished
Current Ball Arsenal
Heavy:
MOTIV Jackal Legacy
MOTIV Mythic Jackal

Med-Heavy:
MOTIV Trident Odyssey
MOTIV Forge Fire
MOTIV Covert Revolt

Medium:
MOTIV VIP ExJ Sigma

MOTIV Pride Solid

Medium-Light
MOTIV Venom Shock
MOTIV Tribal Fire

This winter it's 39' "medium"/light volume, less than 21ml units from what I was told last month.

The house I bowl in is really sensitive to humidity. They put out a medium shot but on days that are humid, the shot feels like heavy oil. As we get further into winter, the scoring goes up as there's more friction to work with.

None!

From the reponses above does one see an issue when putting out these light - medium at best house shots and manufacturers putting out mega hookers?

Do we really need critical theorys and VG Nanos? Lol

Oiler in the house I bowl my THS league in is screwy we haven't had the same shot
in about ten weeks, so far primarily meduim with weeks of extreme heavy followed
by barren desert.

How dose one know unless the house specificly tells you what they put down? my house I play deep with either my epidemic or og jet while most play up ten with a heavy oil piece, so I'll say heavy oil.

No because I'm primarily throwing them on tournament shots and not house shots. They might see a house shot just a few games a year. You have to know when to use and not use this type of ball. If you look at most brands lineups they're still putting out new mid price stuff which IMHO is more suited to the THS. They just don't get the marketing/hype that the high end stuff gets.

For league the two balls I'm using the most this year are a Marvel Pearl and a Reign.
