Best ball for "fried" heads and /or backends
« on: January 25, 2005, 08:44:19 AM »
Probably more than one ball required to answer this since heads and backends are specified ... doesn't have to be a current release but at least still available. Thanx in advance ...

Anything with the word "burnt" in it...urethane is good for. Just my opinion though.

I've had good success with a Dynothane Barrage on this condition, seems to be a nice control ball when everything else in your hand is hooking too much...

I use an old Cuda/c w/ 5000 polish. My doubles partner uses a black Messenger w/2500 polish.

I use a very weak drilled Sling Blade that works really well on
a fried head condition.

Ebonite stinger low flare pearl when i can use it i have shot over 220 each time, the last time i used i shot 231 and the next high game on the pair was 169. This ball stays in my locker just for the couple of times a year i need it, does not do too much on anything else but fried heads and some carrydown.
