What is considered a good average now adays?   When I was growing up in a 200 average meant you were a good bowler and things have changed.

IMO a 220+ is a good average I am currently at 215 working my way up this season.

From the way a lot of people talk, it seems like the answer should be "one pin less than whatever I'm averaging...."

My ball speed is 14 MPH...and I'm speed dominant....

In my home house, the shot is easy enough, but carry is not very good (old pins, dead walls, old pin decks that are not secured properly).
Top ten averages in the house range from 225 to 215.

It depends on the shot honestly.  Some houses' shots are tougher than others.  In mine, 220 is good.  I can't think of anyone that averages that, and I don't think there are many people over 210 either.

Currently in my old scratch league, 230 gets you in the top 10.
