what time do your leagues start?

Not time of year, time of day.  I bowl once a week, starting at 7 PM.  I suggest every year that we move it up to 6:30 or 6:45, but it never passes.  Yet at 6:45 at least 80 - 90 % of the bowlers are in the center.  I've yet to hear a good explanation of why we don't start earlier.

Mine all start at noon(Senior Leagues).  Before I retired, we started at 7pm.  Some leagues did start at 6:30, but I worked until 6pm and Seattle's traffic is wicked, so there's no way I could have been there on time.  I also used to bowl a Sunday league at 4:30pm.  Back in "the good old days" the house charged less for day rates which you could get if you started before 5pm.

All of the adult leagues here start at 7pm with practice starting at 6:45 with one exception: the Sunday Mixed Doubles (actually 4-person teams) starts at 6pm with practice at 5:45.

Monday nights: 6:30pm. The only night that the first shift league starts earlier is the Friday Classic League which starts at 6:15pm.

My home center 1st shift leagues start at 6 PM and 2nd shift leagues at 9 PM.  I am bowling one of each, Sunday 6 PM and Wednesday 9 PM.

The other league, a sport league in a different center starts at 7:30.

12 pm, 1 pm, and 4 pm. All junior leagues.

Tue - 7 PM - No Practice
Thur - Different house - 6:50 Practice  7 PM - League starts

Unfortunately after my league being in existence for over 40 years it did not make last night.  We had 8 teams and 3 demanded 10.  Almost everyone walked out of the meeting and went to other centers.  So my league doesn't start.

youth league 10 am but might change due to too many people possible 2 shifts. 10 and 1

Thursday 6:30 pm 4 man mixed league
Friday 9:00 pm 5 man mixed league

I have to give up cable tv to bowl in two leagues but it's worth it. Luckily my Dad is nice enough to record all the PBA shows for me.
