Does anybody have any advice instructing me what I can do about a bad seller?
About six months ago I bought a ball on this site and sent payment via a cashier's check. That check was cashed and unfortunately because I trusted someone from this site and because I was a fairly new user of this site, I threw my receipt out. The ball has not shown up and after twenty or so e-mails to the seller and complaints to the moderator of this site, I still have no ball. This has been going on for six months now. I am fed up with it and want it to be finished. I don't know where else to turn. Anyone with any advice?
It would be greatly appreciated.

Have a similar situation going on now!!! A BR member and I agreed on a deal and were going to ship both on the same day. Have done this several times with other members, with no issues. Mine went out and I'm still waiting on him to come through. It's been over three weeks and numerous messages to try to finish with this. He got a mint Anomaly and I've got nothing as of yet!!!!!

Here is a few tips.

1)Take the contact information and look on-line for any other information such as telephone number and such.

2) Contact your local or state authorities about internet fraud. They eat this stuff up. Contact local authorities in the area of the seller and ask if they can help also.

I had this same thing happen. I contacted local people to that area and got a telephone number. I then proceeded to call my state internet fraud group. They contacted the seller and next day I had a contact and the following week had my ball back. I also left a nice phone message for this person (kid who was using his dead dad's business name as a cover) I believe his mother took some active steps of having resolution. Good luck

Leftyhi-trak's points are very good.

I've done some dealing here sold a few balls at reasonable prices, have bought a few and traded one or two.

Here's the way I look at it. If the buyer/seller can't exchange complete information with home phone numbers then something is wrong and don't go thru with the deal.

Also, I would insist on getting tracking numbers therefore would want Ground UPS.

If you can get pics of ball/s. I always do this when I sell or trade.

Always check in wanted/for sale/trades for feedback on person you're doing business with.

Sorry to hear about all the bad deals going on. Post the username of the bad dealer/seller here in the Buyer-Seller Feedback forum to let others know of them. Always check that forum first to see if the person you are planning on dealing with is listed. If you are unsure, ask in a post if anyone has had any dealings with that person.
