Last night a guy at my bowling alley shot 825.   When they announced it, it was silent.  Usually when someone shoots a score whether it's a 150 bowler hitting 200 or someone else shooting 270's+ and they announce it people clap.   This guy has a 194 average and bowled WAY over his head. several brooklyns etc.  

Have you ever had something like this at your bowling alley and what is the highest series you've ever seen with the lowest average.   BTW, this also was a house record.

everyone claps for people who shoot like 220
but when they say urbanshaft shot 250 or 270
nobody claps

ouch!!

That's cold that it was silent...

A guy in my league shot 874, everyone was clapping and congratulating. There was another league coming in when they announced it, and a bunch of people from that league went up to him and congratulated him.
