In the 80's,  there was a black Angle,  mostly for light - med oil.
A blue Angle for Med - heavy oil.
And a gold Angle for heavy oil.

In the 90's,  The only one I seem to remember was the Angle tour.  Great ball.

Can't remeber much about the others

There was also a Gray Angle for dry lanes, if I remember correctly.

Black Angle - The original basically became a benchmark ball for the Angle line.

Grey Angle - For dry lanes.

Gold Angle - "Hook monster" the only people who had a decent look with these were leftys with high speed or no revs.

Blue Angle - Something between the Black and Gold.

I stopped bowling around the time that the Blue Angle came out, so I'm not aware of anything that came after that.

I have a strong feeling there was also a major difference in textures. I had a Gold Angle (only God knows why), a Blue Angle and Black Angle. Really loved the Black Angle (Had my first high series with that ball). Can't believe anyone said it was for light oil. Wish I had a Blue Angle now. (Please don't anyone send me a note that they have one for sale.)

I think that there were abouy 10 different Angle during tjr yime span if the ball Black-Gold-Gtay-Blue-Purple-a pro model called ld?- also a pearl version, and a couple I can't remember.
All had pancake weight blocks and different hardness and textures.
