What was the FIRST reactive resin ball you ever bought???
« on: April 30, 2010, 01:10:49 AM »
Not sure if this question was asked before, but I will post anyway.

Thinking about where we have come in such a short time, I was wondering about this today.

For me, (and maybe others), the first one was the X-Calibur...I remember that it was too big for my hand and I rolled it anyway...the raw power was nothing ever seen before on the lanes, during that time.

The Crush/R had a great reaction, but most of the ones sold at our center cracked.  --  JohnP

Not sure.  Turbo X, Nitro R2, or Navy Hammer. I had all three of those but don't remember which was first.

Still have it in the closet. The original Columbia Pirahna, the bright orange thing.

majik13... The Champions Red ball was a WarHawk!!! Red with yellow letters, if you had a red with white letters it was their urethane red Weapon, they had a black Weapon and red or burgundy Weapon both with white lettering! The NightHawk was AMF's!!

Crush/R which i still own too, it 'seperated' inside once so i 'fixed' it by drilling and plugging all the holes. hasnt cracked in the 5-6 or so yrs since, even moving up to the hot weather here in Qld.

I never said it was a Nighthawk...and it very well could've had yellow writing.  I remember having white tips...Warhak...ok.  Not a big deal.  As I said in my OP it was a red US Champions...take a chill.

I dont think people are so much showing their age, maybe more of how long you have been bowling.

Mine was the Brunswick Fury...the original one.  Still got it, just never totally figured it out.  Have figured out other equipment better and faster.
