What was the FIRST reactive resin ball you ever bought???

Not sure if this question was asked before, but I will post anyway.

Thinking about where we have come in such a short time, I was wondering about this today.

For me, (and maybe others), the first one was the X-Calibur...I remember that it was too big for my hand and I rolled it anyway...the raw power was nothing ever seen before on the lanes, during that time.

My first reactive ball was the Ebonite Crusher/R. I hated that ball and wished I had bought a Brunswick Teal Rhino which came out around the same time. The pro shop wanted me to purchase the Brunswick Teal, but since everyone was purchasing that ball, I wanted to be different and thus I purchased the Crusher/R and ended up hating it.

Several here have mentioned the Excaliber. I had that ball also and LOVED it. The first ones that were made (which I had) were great balls. Shortly after that, Columbia took over making them and that ball was never the same again.

It was some ball called Beyond Resin, I believe made by Columbia, which was one of earliest resin balls, but I never knew of anyone else who rolled one.

I was late to the reactive resin show. Mine was a Track Ocean Blue Triton. I did bowl my first 700 with it, so it didn't take long for me to embrace resin! That ball didn't last long though. Cover was too brittle.
