same ball different layout
« on: August 28, 2008, 10:31:38 PM »
I've been thinking of the idea of going with two of the same balls but with different layouts as opposed to switching to a different ball.the idea of course is to keep the same reaction and line as the shot breaks down.
dose anyone have a two ball arsenal with this idea in mind?do you feel you have had better results?

Have 3 SD-73 Classics:Rico, stacked, and a 6" pin. Each has a slightly different surface. If Cell doesn't work I can use these three for just about every other oil volume except bone, have to use plastic, dry.

I used Visionary Executioner's

Label leverage
315 leverage
stacked leverage

They all worked great for me.

I did it with 5 Risings. Each one had a different layout.

I like to go same layout differnet cover finish. You can go same ball or different ball. This way if you stay same ball you dont change the roll you get from the core you just change the way its cover reads the lane. Both ways work, and success is able to be done with both.
