On my Monday night league it happens without fail that you will have pins sliding across the deck into new positions- such as a 10 pin sliding into a 6 pin spot, a 6 pin sliding into a 9 pin spot and so forth. If you are using a machine that oils and strips the lanes at the same time, does this happen because the back ends are so fresh or does this occur when the back ends get a little oil on them? We bowl on purely wood lanes and I'm curious to know what would be the cause of this and if something could be done so that less 'sliding' occurred in the leagues....

happen in my house once in a while.....oil gets on the pin deck and the pin slides on the oil instead of falling. Happens quite a bit now that we have NEW pins...if the deck was clean, friction would cause the pin to grab the surface of the deck and fall.
btw im on sythetics
