In 2003-2004, I was proud to be a member and the captain of the Muncie Southside Highschool Bowling team that made Indiana High School Bowling history by sending both the Guys team and the Girls team to the state finals.  On top of that, we were the first school to ever sweep semi-state titles for both the Guys and Girls teams, a feat that was never anticipated by the history of Indiana High School Bowling.

However, in the current 2008-2009 school year, history repeated itself.  Muncie Southside swept the competition and took home both semi-state titles once again, five years after achieving the "seemingly impossible" as quoted by a competing team's coach on that fateful day in 2004.  Not only have they set the bar over the years, they are constantly raising it to a new standard every year.

State finals will be held at Cooper's Sport Bowl in Anderson this Saturday.  If you are in the area and would like to witness an intense bowling competition, I guarantee you will not be let down.
