Whatever happened to......
« on: July 08, 2011, 10:48:30 PM »
What happened to this "ball review" site?  It was always a nice mix of ball reviews, bowling topics, good equipment and tournament discussions, and a few balls for sale.  Lately it seems like every post is someone trying to sell something.  Its basically turning into a classified ad page.  I hope this is just a blip and it gets back to actually being ball reviews and not balls for sale.

There is plenty of both. It just so happens to be a great place to sell stuff and not get torn a new one on fees like ebay. Just hit reviews and you have an endless list of reviews from people or go under the forum for bowling balls and you never see anything for stuff being sold.

links with no one selling stuff

equipment

reviews

Be good, or be good at it.
…… you can't  add a physics term to a bowling term and expect it to mean something.

I also think things have been a little slow due to the off-season. I'm sure it will pick up by early September.

I personally think its because of the economy being so bad at the moment. I, myself come on here looking to buy as much as I do sell, etc. And I think more is doing that as well... Thats why you basically see more of it. If you can fine a few bowlers to deal with that has the same span. It makes trading and selling so easy! John

I'm sure more reviews will be coming along towards the end of the summer, closer to the start of the fall leagues.
