There are a ton of good ones out there, but I've found that Clean & Dull and Hook-It work the best for general, quick cleaning. But like I said, there are several good ones out there.

I use dawn and water to clean my equipment.  Of course I use the Elixir on my equipment which keep the oil out of the ball and makes cleanup much easier.

If I am on the lanes and need a quick cleanup then clean and dull works great.  Also you can take it on the airlines.  Hook it gets confiscated.

The best "spray on" cleaner is Ultimate's Black Magic Cleaner Rejuvenator.  Clean N Dull is very good and Hook It is also quite good, but they are not pure cleaners, they do a great job of cleaning but they add "tack" that lasts about 2 games.  Dawn & warm water works well too for occasional degreasing.

Personally, rev-it reactive ball cleaner worked much better than the Black Magic rejujinater. Rev-it seemed to break up belt marks and grease from ball returns much better than the B/Magic. Just my experience. I've been using a citrus degreaser spray and scrub wipes for quite a while now they work great.

NeoTac's everyday rejuvenator cleaner called Liquid Nitro is fantastic!

Never used the "take & bake" method to determine exactly how much oil still remains in my equipment after months of use, but after each use for any ball that I throw I've developed a mixture(thanks to someone on this site) of two parts simple green, two parts lane cleaner, one part water.  I know some of the oil might not be siphoned away but the amount of oil that is present on the rag/towel that you use lets me know that I'm taking a lot of the oil off of the surface.

Rubbing Alcohol. Main ingredient in a lot of the cleaners anyway.

Storm Reacticlean leaves my ball with that tacky new fealing. doesn't do much for black marks but does leave the surface in good shape.

Black Magic does not get rid of belt marks or heavy grease.  It does get rid of lane dirt and oil better than anything else I have tried.  I generally use (shhh) a little acetone to get rid of grease and belt marks.  I'll have to try Rev It if I can find it.

Belt marks and pin marks come off much easier if you have applied the Elixir.  Most of the time they just wipe off with a towel.

I second Liquid Nitro from Neo-Tac.

If you don't knock them all down with the first ball, that's no reason to leave any after the second ball.

I third "Liquid Nitro" from Neo tac. I've tried them all and nothing compares to Liquid Nitro.

Tenth frame Ultra-Clean takes belt marks off. You have to apply the liquid right onto the ball (not your rag) and rub a little but they come right off. If my ball has them I usually clean it with Ultra-Clean then clean it again with Storm Re-Acticlean. The only reason I do that is because in my mind if the liquid takes belt marks off (it probably has Acetone in it) then it may be damaging to the surface of the ball in the long term. So I take whatever residual cleaner off with a more gentle cleaner.
