I need some help... BAD
« on: October 11, 2011, 07:31:39 AM »
I just got back into bowling after about a  3-4 year layoff.  I am averaging 185 with my current equipment (Two  Track Machines).  Both are polished, one is drilled to snap hard on the  backend and the other drilled up to roll early and provide more of an  arc.  Problem is, I am having a huge problem getting the ball out enough  or even finding a line that works with these things especially when the  lanes break down.  Now my question.

Is there  anything on the market that is comparable to the Hammer DOOM?  This was  quite possibly my favorite ball of all time, slightly over my Ninja Fury  and Vortex 1.  I am looking for something that is as good of a  skid/flip ball as the Doom, but I am not up to the new technology.  Any  opinions?

He's correct. I have a Bedlum and it is just that. It goes long and have a very noticable snap on the backend wheather or not the lanes are more in line of a house shot or longer oil. I think you will like the Bedlum.

Try taking the polish off one of the balls, I suggest you try the ball

that you feel leesed confortable with. You will be surprised! stinger_7 helped me with this same issue

To propel the ball out, open your shoulders at set up so they are lined up with the trajectory you want the ball to take.  Then push out toward your target and keep the swing on that line through release.  --  JohnP
