Whats the deal here?
« on: April 02, 2005, 08:46:20 PM »
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7146884542&fromMakeTrack=true    I sent them a message wishing them good luck  with the auction, considering I can get one NIB shipped  for less than there shipping charge.

Its the original black hammer from the 80's and its drilled, only a moron would bid on this ball for that price. Just my 2 cents.

what a tool.  no description, no weight given, nothing except a picture and "i only use paypal."

Ha!  Member since 2002 and only 1 feedback!  Sad part is, knowing ebay, some fool will buy it!

This appears to be a first time seller on eBay. I think that the price that this person is asking for shipping ( $35 ) is probably more than the ball is worth.

Messaged him again and told him $ 1.25 would be a good starting bid not $125.00 And $ 12-20 for shipping not $35.   Return email was " No way not for a ball thats less than a yr old and what do  you think shipping is free."  Then i returned that email and told him I was just trying to help, and the auction will go bidless for that price. Hah maybe Ill put in a bid for the $125.00 leave it for a day or so then Retract it LOL> My feedback is solid enough where 1 negative wouldnt hurt.

Honestly, and I am not trying to be funny, This guy is either a huge jerk-off or he has some type of disorder. No reasonable person would go so crazy on people for no good reason, and have so many grammatical and spelling errors on purpose.

What you don't understand, Greg, is that the ball contains MANY, MANY unused strikes which bring the value up to $125.

It was also blessed by the Virgin Mary and contains her likeness somewhere on the thumb hole..

Keep looking... I'm sure there's a 300 in one of those balls you keep buying!!

i couldnt resist myself to send this...

"You have to be kidding trying to sell this.  I have new bowling balls I bought two weeks ago that wouldnt sell for $125, and you think a used hammer will go for $125???  after the sale AND shipping, the winner should pay no more than your $35 shipping price.  I could ship 2 16-pound balls cross-country for $35.  This is one of the biggest scams ive seen yet.  Happy selling!"

Well now that he dropped the price, I can buy that wonderful ball of unknown weight, specs, and layout.  I sure hope hammer lives up to the untapped strikedom it's supposed to.
