Console wise, can't go wrong with any of the Brunswick games. But I personally like the online games of Concrete bowling and Bowling Evolution.

The brunswick game for wii is pretty realistic in some ways. It uses all the brunswick products, has lane patterns (don't know how much different each one is). and so on. It has some funky controls because you can change your forward roll and side roll depending on rotation of the remote etc

That wii game looks pretty neat too from what i seen of it. I haven't really tried that many bowling games but like some weird ones thats like for kids or something..you can hook it and all that but they give you special powers for some characters..lol

Avoid "Brunswick Pro Bowling" on the Wii at all costs. The control system is terrible and very unintuitive. If you're really set on getting that game (and it's not even that good of a game to begin with), get the PS2 or PSP version instead.

download bowliing evolution on the comp. Best game out there, u can change oil patterns and balls.

Im so glad people are brainwashed to thinking that if they buy a new ball they will carry everything. And its even funnier when im carrying with my 15 year old ball and they're going flat ten.

I have the Brunswick Bowling for the Wii. At first I hated it. If you start a character and bowl in the league and tournaments on it you start with a house ball and have to work up on equipment. However, after playing around with it, and actually not playing it for a few months, I recently began playing again and I seem to like it much better. The controls are awkward at first, especially if you are used to Wii Bowling on the Sports disc, and it actually takes into consideration how much rotation you put on the controller, and how fast you bring your arm through.
Overall, it isn't perfect, but it is a lot of fun as it does take into account your rotation.

Let in the DOGS - I've got a HAMBONE for them!
To all the haters, get over it!

Wii sports bowling game is actually pretty good, the brunswick wii game is crap. I have been tempted to buy the Amf game a few times, but the wii sports version is very good so why waste 30.00 on it.

The Wii Sports bowling is a cartoon...not like real bowling at all...the amf game is the same....the Brunswick game will challenge you because the patterns break down. People don't get it. The controls are simple. All you have to do is do the same motion as the bowler does. If you go too fast or too slow it will effect your shot. The bowler doesn't move at your speed, you have to move at it's speed. Then the pattern breaks down and becomes very challenging. Some even break down faster than others based on how much oil is put down. The most difficult pattern is the fork pattern. It is put down in stripes vertically down the lane. You really have to bowl in a zone.

Why the crap doesn't the instruction manual say anything about timing your motions with the bowler on-screen?
Also, I've never even advanced far enough in the game to get beyond the regular house shot oil pattern. Such a slow, plodding gameplay pace...

This is the most realistic bowling simulation out there. Not exactly a game per se, but the ability to define ball roll, ball and lane friction levels and many more variables makes it as real as it gets. The only down side is that there is no visible "person" throwing the ball. You just pick your variables and it simulates the roll you want.

Always wanted to bowl on the fork pattern.
-
I don't disagree that the manual is crap...i mean the box has the meter on it, but the game has no meter. Never the less you play the game find what works and then learn from there.

Brunswick on Wii is pretty good... I cant figure out how to throw a straigth ball though ....
I just started a career and it seems pretty cool. the lanes break down, you get fatigued, all kinds of stuff. Not bad. I also havent really figured out how to control the spin either? oh well I will eventually I guess.

I'm thinking I might take that new chick from Logistics. If things go well I might be showing her my O-face. "Oh... Oh... Oh!" You know what I'm talkin' about. "Oh!"

Screw all those console games. Go to your local bowling alley or bar and play Silverstrike Bowling.

Wii Sports!!!!

If brunswick bowling on the wii is eralistic for american league lanes, i never want to play there lol
I use the houseball exclusively and average about 250... if i use any of the reactive balls the ball rolls out when you throw to the right, or the ball doesnt shape up properly, and i score rubbish...
houseball all the way!
