I have a new problem!
« on: October 02, 2008, 07:12:54 AM »
I have started leaving the smash 6-8!  Right handed it's kind of strange.  I have been working on learning 2 handed bowling because it is becoming rather popular.  One of the common leaves lately has been the 6-8 split.  Good news is that it is easy to pick up with both pins covered by the ball.

I've left the 6 with a lot of entry angle and coming in behind the head pin.  You pretty much nip the head pin and smack the 3 straight on, so it goes straight back without hitting the 6.  Sounds like you could use a bit more surface to get the ball to burn up a little earlier.

I am throwing a very light white dot when practicing so surface could very well be a problem.  Just strange to leave the opposite of what I am prone to leaving when I bowl normally.  Next I am going to work more on the helicopter release.
