Whats your old reliable???
« on: August 21, 2004, 01:44:27 PM »
I know everyone has one. Something they pullout when everything else goes wrong.

For myself though I am currently slowly favoring track balls, my old reliable is my columbia beast. Its smoothness and predictability just keeps me going back to it when it gets tough.

Lets hear it........

For me...it would have to be my Green Gargoyle.  There has to be a flood or seriously burnt heads to keep me from pulling this out of the bag.  This ball carries well whether I am playing up the 8 board, or swinging from gutter to gutter.

When all else fails, it is the Old Blue Hammer (purchased in 1994).  If that isn't working, then....

Teal Rhino Pro....when I can use it starting out on a fresh pattern, I don't think I've shot lower than 630 with it.

Old reliable on many tough conditions has been my El Nino Wrath. Just when I think I'm ready to retire that ball, it comes out again and I shoot another high game with it, so it always sticks around in my arsenal.

If there's a good amount of oil on the lanes, it's the Super Power.  If not, it's the D/T Crisis.

One of my Khameleons. One is drilled to go longer, the other for max hook. They are very predictable and allow me to read the lane better.
