News on the 9's?
« on: November 04, 2015, 09:13:39 AM »
It's been a couple of months since they were released. How are they? Looking to try a pair out. Currently using a pair of 6LZ, and totally skipped over the 8's. Before I drop a small mint on them, want some feedback.

Thanks!

I really like mine. I put them on and never think about them again while bowling. They are that comfortable. I do recommend changing the S7 pad they come with to an S8 pad. Especially, on synthetic approaches. Dexter should have shipped them with an S8 pad.
Balls: Motiv Forza GT, Motiv Primal Rage Remix, Motiv Ascent Pearl and Motiv (On The Ball) spare ball.. All made in the USA.

I have somewhere between 150-200 games on my 9s now. No noticeable wear yet. Unless you're a serious toe dragger, the 9s should hold up as well as any shoe on the market.

They're significantly different from the Dexter 6/8 models in feel. If it's at all possible for you to try a pair on before purchase, I'd strongly recommend it.

No serious toe drag here. I would love to find a shop that would have sizes I could try on. I may have one shop that stocks all the sizes... Maybe I'll buy from them. Wouldn't seem fair if I tried them on and then didn't buy. Maybe this will be a tax time gift to myself.
