When getting a new ball, do you.....
« on: August 09, 2004, 05:47:29 AM »
throw it differently?  Adrenaline is pumping and heart racing with excitement waiting with anticipation of your new ball.  You drill it and run to the lanes.  The specs say "this ball hooks off the planet...".  Are you guilty of trying to prove that point?  Do you throw tha ball so differently that the equipment you already own all of a sudden lack appeal (i.e. seems to no longer work)?

Why do we often get psyched about something new and all too soon get rid of stuff that always worked?

How long do you actually keep the balls you've done very well with?

Bob7: I agree with your sentiments on buying new equipment to fill your arsenal rather than buying equipment that overlaps what you already have. That's why I have a medium oil ball that I will be drilling 4 x 4 to replace my El Nino Wrath, then I plan on getting a heavy oil ball to replace my V2 Particle. Otherwise I have little need for anything new as everything else in my bag works very well for what I see.
