Ball Review Videos.........
« on: May 21, 2012, 05:23:13 PM »
These videos should be made on a double wide lane. Every video is near or left of 35 and there is no variation in styles or angles. "We decided to take the new StoRoto900BrunsEbo- We Made This Ball Already But You Don't Know That with a pin up layout 2000AB standing around 65 board and just inside of 43." lol wtf man

Let's be real....what do the videos really tell you unless they are really structured?  You don't really know what is being bowled on, you can't really see the change of direction.

I mean what ball DOESN'T hook on a Typical House Shot?  I can take a Slingshot on my house shot, give it a little more of the business at the bottom, and BOOM....high end ball motion.

The only videos worth watching are the manufacturer's or some of the reputable ones like Buddies.

Second that. And even THEN I'd be sceptical, since they want to sell the ball. ABS from Japan used to have some nice videos, but even then their credibility has to be doubted.

BTW, I wonder why there's no dyed lane conditioner for such videos, so that the pattern could be seen? Not that this could not be manipulated, too, but it would IMHO improve judgement of  a ball's reaction.
