What's your benchmark ball?
« on: August 10, 2011, 04:39:43 AM »

Just read a good aticle by Tamer Bowling  below reaffitming the importance to have a benchmark ball (thanks Tamer for the good reminder).   I am curious to hear some opinions out there as to what is your benchmark ball?   For me, I think I would say it's my HY-Road drilled at 65 x 4 3/4 x 35.

916AT drilled 5" Pin under bridge with MB kicked 45* right. Very strong, but super predictable and consistent.

Bench mark for me would have to be my Pin up Hot Sauce Peal @ 4000 w/o polish

For the last two seasons it's been a Brunswick C(System) 2.5 but this year it's the new C(System) ulti-max.

For me it's the Arsenal Artillery. It was considered a little strong for benchmark when it was released. But now it is always first out of the bag.

In search of the perfect ball reaction....

Mine is a Nomad solid, but I'm thinking it's about time for a change,  Not sure what to get.  Hearing pretty good things about the Storm Victory Road and also about some Global 900 products.  Any opinions on those?

Based off of what your benchmark ball is now, I would recommend a 900 global Wisdom, and just knock the shine off of it. Its supposed to read the lane pretty well.
