Wher are YOU in the lineup?

Since this board is frequented by mostly serious bowlers, who are students of the game, it would be interesting to hear where in the lineups of your various teams we each are and why. Are you first because you can be depended upon to always have a decent steady game? Are you buried in the middle because you need the support from your team-mates both ahead of and behind? Or do you bowl last cause you are most likely to punch out when it is needed, regardless of your teams averages? As bad as I am, I do bowl last on my teams as I often get a lot of my pins in the last two frames.

Tell us which position you bowl in!

I like to go first,..so I can keep the flow of both teams moving,..when my arrow comes up it's time to bowl,..and I remind the other team also..I like to get done first,..and pack up and be ready to go when our last bowler is done..
that way if I hurry I don't miss too much of NYPD Blue...

I am the 3rd bowler on my team on Saturday mornings. I am the better bowler of the team but that really isnt saying much because im bowling with 2 beginners and an okay bowler. On the Friday Adult-Youth league in the summer i was top average for boys with a wopping 195 average. The first week of the Saturday league i think i shot 595 which is 198.3 if you couldnt find out the average fast enough. ( I AM NOT SAYING YOU ARE STUPID IF YOU DIDNT COME UP WITH THE ANSWER FAST ENOUGH. I JUST FELT THE NEED TO TELL YOU SO THAT IF YOU FEEL COMPELLED TO FIND OUT MY AVERAGE YOU WOULDNT HAVE TO DO ANYTHING.)

3rd, with 188 avg.  We bowl againt each member in City mens.  I just got to beat my guy.  Love it.  We all put in 20.00$ at the first of the year, the man who wins the best % of his points get 100.00$

On my 5 man team I'm 4th and in mix lg I'm anchor

I bowl 3rd on a team made up of 4 hacks, and a strong anchor man. I'm the second best bowler on the team now, and I tend to approach the 10th frame of tight games with an "anchor man mentality"......I don't mind bowling 3rd, but if I was to move, I'd rather move down rather than up.
