"Patrick Gerard layout"
« on: May 10, 2005, 06:42:17 AM »
I see you guys talking about this, but have no idea (unless the diagram below is it) what it is.  Is this close?  I did this on a ball years ago, loved it, but haven't had nerve enough to try it since. Ball rolled early, but not a lot on the back.  It was great for playing deep, but also worked well from the outside.

Never seen it diagramed and had no idea it was the same as RICO - is it?  Is my diagram the layout in question?  Frankly, all the dialogue about RICO seemed trivial to me.  I just wondered if this "Patrick Gerard" layout was the one I used a decade ago.  Your reply doesn't tell me the answer.

It's like that layout if you're lefty, if you were righty the pin would be on the leftside.  I remember having a Teal Rhino back around 98 that was drilled for a Full Roller and it had the pin really low like that, even though I wasn't a full roller it worked really well and I do agree that it's really good from a deep inside angle.

Rags,....I didn't intend to answer your question, I just thought you may be able to find the answer by searching the Big B board under RICO1 .....

however...I see you got what you were looking for
