if you want to see the
true reaction of a balls core and coverstock. Let me explain my question. Ball companies have drilling instructions for their product to show how drilling a ball in different configurations will cause it to be used on various conditions. Say if I wanted to make...oh, let's say the Brunswick Swamp Monster to work a Med. to Med. Dry oil condition. I'd punch it up based on the drill specs and mabey some cover preperation to do this. (Although I have no idea why someone would want to do this.
)
What I'd like to know is if I wanted to use the ball what it's
trully
designed for, i.e. the core and coverstock working together at its utmost effeciency or what not, would that be done using a label drilling? Now, before any of you professors of ball drilling get in my grill, I'm not very knowledgeable about any of this stuff. I'm just trying to learn as I go. I understand that It depends on plenty of variables but if I were to drill my entire arsenal with a label drilling and keep the coverstock NIB, would I then see the
true reaction that the ball was designed for on its given oil condition?
Now I also understand that doing this with different companies probably won't mean squat. From what I read on the forums, the Black Cherry Bomb (or Lane 1's equipment period for that matter...) is very flippy or snappy when you drill them label. Since I can remember, I've always had my stuff drilled label because I felt it helped me to read my ball better. Go long, set up, and roll like HELL into the pocket!
So please, I really would like some feedback on this. If it seems like a silly question, I apologize, nevertheless, I'd still like some feedback. As always people, thanks a pleanty in advance!

When you've moved up, moved back, adjusted left and right, cupped, flattened out, have thrown everyting in your arsenal, and the pins still don't cooperate, just say, "Aw to HELL with it!", and throw the ball!
