1. Less
2. Only if they find some sponsors with money
3. 230's
4. Doubt it, unless they find a way to make it into a "reality" show.
5. No. There will be one giant company named EbohamvisMoripstiatrick and 900G

Will there be more or less league bowlers? Only if we help create them.
Will the PBA still be around? The problem is lack of fans at the venue. 250 spectators does not do it when the Mavericks or the Stars draw 19000 a night.
What will be a avg for the high in your house be then? Who cares?
Will bowling still be on TV? Sure ESPN Classic
Will we still have the same number of ball companies? Ebonite and the others are questionable.

Will there be more or less league bowlers?
I think we'll lose some of the existing league bowlers, but they'll be supplanted by the youth bowlers of today. The high school and college bowling systems have made steady increases in participation in the last 10 years. Today's dedicated youth bowlers are tomorrow's league bowlers.
Will the PBA still be around?
The PBA will still exist, though possibly in a diminished form. If I'm remembering correctly, last year was the PBA's first year in the black since the guys from Microsoft took over. That's a positive financial direction from the previous years. If that trend continues, why wouldn't the PBA be around in 10 years?
What will be a avg for the high in your house be then?
The same as it is today. What was the high average range in your house 10 years ago?
Will bowling still be on TV?
Let me flip a coin ... ok that coin says yes. Anyone have a magic 8 ball? While I believe the PBA can continue to be profitable, TV contracts aren't getting cheaper (especially with ESPN winning more contracts from the major non-cable networks) and that may break the PBA's profit model.
Will we still have the same number of ball companies?
If the world's economy continues in its current direction, it's likely that only the biggest companies - namely Ebonite, Brunswick, and Storm - would survive because they have a better chance at keeping unit prices down due to economy of scale.

Will there be more or less league bowlers? USBC will provide the training for bowling centers to attact bowlers. This will cause a new resurgence and influx of bowlers. As well, the youth we are attracting today will be grown and they will stay with bowling having success from training that is becoming available today.
Will the PBA still be around? Yes and it will grow because the PBA will stop moving around the country and settle into a single location. This will reduce the expenses of broadcasting (ESPN) and the bowlers. This will produce more money into the prize funds and increase interest.
What will be a avg for the high in your house be then? USBC is instituting new restrictions on friction. This will cause the escallating scoring to stop. Today averages are in the 240's in most centers and will stay there.
Will bowling still be on TV? Yes, following the PBA the Women will have there own tour again albeit a shorter one. Both the PBA, Women and College events will be broadcast on TV because of the interest and patronage increase.
Will we still have the same number of ball companies? Unlikely, many will merge to become more profitable overall. However, there will be just as many top of the line balls as those that remain will carry forward the lines of those that have merged.
.... or so I can dream.
