WOOOHOOO go me!!!

Well I finally did it. A thing that has come so easily to so many of you, I finally bowled my first 500 series! A 507 to be exact. I'm so happy that I finally beat my last goal as a beginning level bowler, now I can raise my standards again and continue to be dissapointed again week after week. lol.

Congrats....  When I was a junior 500 was the toughest to get.  I had more problems with that one than 600 or 700.  Still working on 800 .

Hey No1, way to go!!  Remember, frustration is best served in smaller increments, it lasts longer that way, so next set your sights on averaging 150 and shooting 550 in league, 675 in practice.  Just be careful that, as you go forward, your politics don't swerve to the left - that would be too much change for us to take.

What they're all saying is very true...once you get one goal (in your case, the 500 series), they came rushing in like crazy.  For instance, I shot 300 in November, had my highest series at the time the very next day, and then almost shot 300 in a collegiate tournament that very next weekend.  Congrats to you and keep it up!

Nice job.  This was my first year bowling for real so I can relate.  I remember my first 200 (which took a while) which was exactly a 200.  I needed only a 7 in the last of the tenth after a spare and that's just what I got luckily.

My first 600 felt pretty amazing too since my feeling is that you have to be on fire to get one.  

I ended the year with four 600s and a high game of 253.  Trust me, once you top a goal, it gets easier to repeat!

Thanks for all the great feedback guys and gals. I am thrilled to have done it and can't wait for next week to try and prove that it wasnt a fluke. My next set of goals are now layed down and ready to pounce on, those being a 250 game and a 600 series, i thought about trying for a 550 series but if I'm gonna shoot anyway, might as well shoot for the stars, lol. Again, thanks gor all the positive responses and may all your balls hit the mark. (and I mean that in the least painfull way imagineable.)
