Where or how do you search the forums?
« on: February 08, 2012, 01:26:50 PM »
I must have gone half blind or something, but I don't see a search box anywhere on the site.

There used to be.
Can someone please enlighten me?

I'll paste what I just typed in the main thread for this:

I miss the search too, however there is a tiny workaround. Go to change your profile and adjust the "Show data only for the past:" option to a larger date range. Then, go into a forum and the results will be for a much larger date range. Thats how I found some older information on the 811a when it came out more than 60 days ago.

You could also use Google search and put in your search information followed by site:ballreviews.com

Hope that helps.

Yes...  thank you.

I was kind of hoping that it WAS me for this one.

Used to enjoy searching for info on a particular ball ----not necessarily one of the newest ones. Am I being too cyncial in thinking that they don;t want us looking at the older stuff as much so they can entice us to buy a new ball.

That is what this site's main purpose is.  However... I actually was more of a ball hog when I had the search option and could easilt compare the new balls with their predecessors.

Isn't it rather unusual not to have a search function, though?
