Which ball would you choose? *Just for fun thread*
« on: December 19, 2008, 12:12:42 PM »
Hi everyone. If you had to give every bowling ball you currently own away except for one, which ball would you keep? I would keep my Second Coming because it could be used on many different oil patterns. This is just for fun because i'm bored right now. Have fun!

Oddly enough, it is a ball that I'm not even using right now.

  EBONITE GAMEBREAKER

Mine is drilled stacked to the right of the grip and highly polished. For some reason, mine has always been smoother and weaker than all the other ones I have seen.  If I dull it down it can handle heavier mediums, but with polish I can throw it even after the lanes get far too dry for eveyone else "good" stuff.

Is ALWAYS smooth and predictable, just doesn't seem to carry well unless I "POP" it at the bottom of the release. If I do, it carries as good as anything else I've got and is the most versatile ball I own, as far as covering a wide variety of lane conditions.  That is also one of the reasons I dont use it much anymore. It is really hard to know when to use it and when to put it up because I can hit the pocket with it on almost anything.

Simple, it would be my Blue Hammer Urethane.  If the lanes are hooking, it will be great, if they're not at all, I'll still get the same reaction from it that I would from a $200 ball.

Also it can be great for spares and blending out tough patterns.

The only thing lost would be the hitting power on light hits, but I can deal with that.

Definitely my Blue Hammer Urethane!

Raw Hammer Anger. A very versatile ball depending on what the cover surface is kept at.
