Ok, not knowing your pap, I'm going to shoot from the hip.
Pin over and under ring will probably be the same distance from your pap, give or take a half inch. Pin next to ring, maybe another 3/4 of an inch closer. The core dynamics dictate that you're not going to see much difference in flare potential. The diff is .029 after all.
You haven't mentioned if you have an extra hole or not, so let's assume that there aren't. That puts the "mass bias" near or in the thumb. Extra hole location would change that.
Surfaces are all 4000. So right now, you have a pin up (shorter transition), pin down (longer transition) and pin next to ring (somewhere in between). The shape will be SLIGHTLY different.
My advice is to take the pin down to 1000 for the fresh, pin up to 4000 to create a bit more bump. Leave the other at home.
