Which of these balls for dry...?

I'm looking for a new ball as soon as my new shoes (ABS Tour ultras) arrive and I decided I need to get something for dry. The ball I use now is my Hex which is good, but it still jumps off the dry too much too often. I was thinking of getting something real smooth (there are a lot of older wooden lanes around) something like an ebonite Tornado or a Storm hit(big hit?) Power groove looks to aggresive and I don't know if waiting for the desert heat will work, considering tracks last dry lane ball attempt was a joke. I'm not really interested in visionary either. What ball do you guys think would work as a smooth dry lane ball?

I think it all depends on just how dry your dry conditions are.

My personal favorites for dry conditions are the Barrage, Barbed Wire and Crisis Pearl.  The Barrage is more of a bone dry ball, while the Barbed and Crisis will a use on more of the typical dry conditions that I see.

Hex017 -- I use the Slate Blue 90% of the time.  Slow speed locks me out of reactive balls most of the time, and if the lanes get even dryer I go to my original Faball Black Hammer.  Best way I can describe the SB reaction - it reacts the same on medium dry to dry as reactive does on medium heavy to heavy, but doesn't hit quite as hard.

Thanks for all the replys everyone. The dynothane barrage and crisis pearl grabbed my attention. They look like they may be just what I need. As soon as my shoes arrive and I get my thumb hole problems fixed I'll probably get one. Anyone know what might be a good way to drill one of these?
