That's a very narrow gap.
Maybe it's dependent on how you drilled them both.

Maybe drill a 2nd one of either and drill it in the opposite direction of the one you have - OR - drill it the same and modify the surface.

Both are drilled Similar, but the TFP has a stronger layout as recommended
(4 1/2 ptp with the MB at 60 degress). The PM is 5" ptp with the cg 3" ptp with a weight hole in the thumb quad.

The PM was picking up in the mids a lot sooner than the TFP and was about 5 boards stronger on the backend.

I was thinking it was just one step below, but it sure doesn't seem to be..

Of course, there's always OP error too..

That''s a big difference. The low RG of the PM is helping quite a bit.

Hmmmm .... Some thoughts:

- A Python or Rattler would have a bit more backend than the TFP, but still a higher RG than the PM.
(The Smash Zone is a slightly stronger Pyhton.)

- A weakly drilled Lanebreaker (5.5" and a weaker MB/CG, like 75 degrees or so, might also fit in there. The LB has a higher starting RG and kind of handles medium-light tomedium oil.

- A Hammer Emerald Vibe might also fit in that space.
