Vise ovals with nubs
« on: February 01, 2018, 07:07:58 PM »
I use those lifts and they are tearing up my fingers.  I only put them down to the first knuckle like you are supposed to also.  They are cutting my fingers on the crease.  Also below the crease to.  And that part isn't even in the ball.  Any suggestions

Flip them and use the end that doesn't have the lifts. Note that it will affect your span slightly

Both sides are the same.  Oval with no lifts.  Each side is a different size.

Ah I was thinking you were using the ones with a lift end and oval end. Maybe finger pitch, maybe you're hanging in the grips, maybe there's a softer option from another brand. This might just be an experiment for you.

I had those once, I ended up taking a dremel (carefully) to those nubs until my new ones came in the mail
