Jack Daniels is very good. Very tasty
Maker's Mark...strong and flavorful. Great in Manhattens.
Knob Creek... Great aftertaste, goes down strong and commanding.

I'm more of a scotch whiskey type of guy. It's either Pinch or Johnnie Black for me. For bourbon, the best is Maker's Mark.

I've only had scotch a few times. I did buy a bottle of Johnny Walker (red label) once and thought it was interesting. It's an aquired taste. I've also never had any Irish whiskey or any other European whiskey. Canadian whiskey to me is all too either overly smooth, dull, weak or bland. Candian Mist is ok I guess. America has some good to great beers here, along with some very poor ones. The other alchoholic stuff like gin belongs to England, vodka belongs to Russia, tequilla belongs to Mexico. America has the best whiskey hands down.

Wild Turkey tastes like jet fuel...too strong and so so taste in my opinion. Jim Beam is tolerable but a little overated. Southern Comfort....I can't remember.

If you can believe it, the best vodka on the market is from France. Grey Goose is now widely considered the best in the world.

I'll try it. Hell, I'll try anything. Grey Goose is way too expensive anyway.

Now you're talking. I made the switch from beer to Crown & Cokes on league night. It's just a bit more expensive than beer at my lanes, but I don't feel like I just ate Thanksgiving dinner when I'm done either...
