Drilling Question
« on: August 15, 2006, 09:19:46 AM »
I bought a D/T Anomaly off of ebay(NIB).
It's got 3.14 oz. top weight and the pin is 5 in. from the CG.
I want it drilled for maximum hook(it's for sport conditons).
How should it be layed out. Also how does top weight affect ball reaction?

 Thanks!!!

What do you consider "maximum hook" (late sharp angle, heavy roll in oil, etc.) and on what condition?

I don't really know, I bowled in a sport shot league this summer, and my x-factor deuce would only hook if I slow it down to  around 13 on the qubica.
That ball moves a ton on a THS.  I was playing a straighter line (13 board)If I got to firm with speed the ball wouldn't move. My real concern was with the pin being 5 inches from the cg is that bad?

Thanks!

OK thanks,
I'll talk to my driller.
I was just worried about the pin to cg distance and top weight.
It's an internet ball ya know!
