removing debris from tip of slide shoe
« on: May 17, 2010, 04:14:11 PM »
Hello all,

I took a nasty spill the other day (yea its funny and i laughed as well). I noticed that the front of my slide was not sticking to my shoe and there was some debris inside the hard part of the velcro on the bottom of my slide shoe. is there any way to remove this small debris. I have tried and nothing seems to get it off.

You could try a hard tooth brush (preferrably not yours...), or a brass brush (which is also great in order to rough up soles). If it is something dried, soaking it with some water and detergent could make things easier - but in the worst case, a thin pick or tweezers will be the last resort.
