How does a ProShop get into ball testing program through their supplier or direct from manufacturers?

I am taking over our shop for next season. Was Just curious....

If you are talking about actual testing of new balls yet to be released, that will be direct through the manufacturers, specially if you have one close to your location. Getting to test balls will be all in who you know.

Each manufacturer has a pro shop program, but you pay to be part of those, any pro shop can participate. Some distributors get seed balls that they can parcel out to their good customers, but those are up to the individual distributor.
